yummy yummy

cream cheese and green onion stuffed hot sausage beef burgers, steamed broccoli, & cheesy potatoes.
the grocery store where i work makes their own spicy sausage and i looove it. I used it in our burgers this evening. so,since i am feeling extra typey tonight, here it is.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED FOR THE BURGERS:
half a lb of spicy sausage
a little less than a pound of ground beef
mccormick montreal spicy steak seasoning
bread crumbs
salt

WHAT YOU'LL NEED FOR THE STUFFING:
canister of cream cheese
2 stalks of green onions
(I had this left over from when i made cream cheese won tons last week)

WHAT YOU'LL NEED FOR EVERYTHING ELSE:
i used the steam in the bag Steamfresh broccoli
can of sliced potatoes
a few slices of velveeta cheese off the block

TO DO:
Mix everything that goes in yr burger together, except for the cream cheese junk. i baked these particular burgers so i had my lil baking pan ready. i made 4 slim patties and put them in the pan, then put a dollop of the cream cheese mixture in the middle, spreading it out just a bit and then i made 4 more slim patties and put them on top, pinching it a bit. I put them in the oven at 400F for about 20-30 minutes or until none of the meat is pink anymore.

before i even mixed the burger stuffs up,i went ahead and put my can of potatoes on the stove. i know that "can of potatoes" sounds really lazy but they were delicious so WHATEVER. i put some red pepper flakes and salt in there and let it simmer for about 15 minutes. about 5 minutes into having the burgers in the oven,i drained the liquid from the potatoes, put them back on the stove top and put some velveeta slices ontop of them and put a lid on it.

aboutttt 5 minutes before the burgers were done i went ahead and put the broccolies in the microwave. it says 4 1/2-7 minutes. i started with 5 minutes and then 2 minutes and they were perfect.
then just do whatever else you want and whatever and then EAT THEM ALLLL. except they REALLY fill you up quick. i only ate 1 of them with the potatoes and broccoli and i was full.

oh! We put mayo and french fried onions ontop of the burgers!! yummmmm!
if you don't eat meat,i'm sure things could easily be subbed for whatever you DO eat. stuffed burgers can be for everyone!
